मध्यप्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय: मौत की सज़ा कम, साथी वैवाहिक स्थिति स्वीकृत, वकील पर FIR नहीं खारिज
सप्ताह 7‑13 सितंबर में मध्यप्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय ने दो साल की लड़की के बलात्कार‑हत्यारे को मौत की सज़ा से कम कर दी। साथ ही, लंबे समय से साथ रहने वाले पुरुष‑महिला को वैध युगल मानने का प्रावधान और वकील‑मरीज के मामलों में FIR खारिज न करने का निर्णय लिया। न्यायालय ने आत्महत्या के मामलों में भी साक्ष्य‑आधारित जांच का आग्रह किया।
